I just thought I'd post here to clarify some things. It's probably apparent at this point, but I will never resume development on MapEd3. My career has taken up a majority of my time, and I can say with conviction that I will not code in my off-hours. There's no way.

I'd love to work on Verge more! I really miss those days. I can say that I am a significantly less pleasent person than I was when I worked on V3.. And that's saying something. I've been working as a senior software developer at a company called DataX (www.dataxcorp.com) for about a year now, and it has baked me.

I mostly posted to say that I'm happy that verge didn't die (again), and that people are actively using it. That's really quite awesome. I might start posting more, just to chip in, but who knows.

What prompted this was me sitting at my desk today at about 2:00 PM, getting news of yet another painful deadline. Sitting there in the glow of the several displays on my desk, I just about hit my tipping point. All I could think about was a time when I actually enjoyed development, and such.. And I thought about VERGE. Those were good times. I'll stick with my job, but perhaps chipping into the verge community here and there might lighten up my stress a bit, or something.

At any rate, good job to those who have kept things running and such. Looks cool~
