I have created a Notepad++ syntax highlighting file, spurred on by finding a thread talking about an old one I created - much harder to use than this one - and by seeing Rysen's new TextPad syntax. Anyway, better late than never, I present my updated Notepad++ syntax and auto-completion files! Have fun editing!

Does anyone use any other programs for writing VergeC? I would be happy to write syntax files for those as well (assuming they support highlighting).

SciTe is always a good choice...

I'm a big fan of Komodo Edit... but I haven't written any VergeC in it in quite some time. (Though this will probably be changing as soon as THIS EVENING)

Thankfully, it comes with a Lua highlighter. :)

I have created a Komodo .udl, but haven't been able to convert it to an actual extension. If you would like to try to take it on, you can find the file here. If anyone converts this, send it back to me (either on Google Docs, or tell me on this thread), and I'll package it up, giving credit to whoever created it, of course.

I think I'll wait a while before creating the SciTe highlighter, grue. I need a break from the VergeC API, and have a good plan for a XML parser that's begging to be worked on.

Ben McGraw's lovingly crafted this website from scratch for years.
It's a lot prettier this go around because of Jon Wofford.
