[Edit: Damn. It rocks. Okay, that's not very useful, but I don't wanna undermine how great I think this demo is by complaining about some minor text wrapping issues.]

Very nice work, Wooly. I love the way the graphics fit together and capture that Final Fantasy 2 (or 4, whatever) feel. And the weather! It really caught me off guard when the lightning followed me into the battle system. Overall very, very solid game and quite enjoyable.

Some things that could use work include the dialogue, of course. If nobody else volunteers, I'll go through and tidy it up for you if you like. Also, the battles seem to run a little slow for my taste. Excellent system, but fights seem to drag on a bit.

Great stuff.

If you want to fix my dialog, I would be very happy. I want to make a big fix that will correct some issues people may encounter and would like the text to be fixed.

I`m aware that the BS is slow or the moment. I`m willing to make it as dynamic as I can. I`ll try to fix the speed in the next patch :)

Looks good so far.
I did find one bug so far using items on the second page in battle has no effect. I did apply the patch.

Code

Hi Wooly and everyone. Long time listener lurker, first time caller poster.

Solid release, Wooly! I like the day/night system a lot. Maybe you could use it for limiting side quests and that sort of thing. Some RPGs have no problem with you waiting forever to rescue Person X, etc:
'Hurry! There's not much time!'
'Hold on, I'm going to level up for a few hours.'
'Oh, okay. Cool.'
But as the days tick by in your game engine, the oppurtunity to do the side quest will vanish. Bad guys are not considerate about other people's schedules. That's a fact!

One bug report, though. I had a fatal error due to memory overload from images. Sorry, I didn't write down exactly what it said, but I think I got the error after playing for a while and then fighting 5 green slimes. Maybe you forgot a FreeImage() somewhere?

Great game so far, I like it a lot!

I will try to fix every bugs you talked about. I'm sure there is some little remaining here and there.

The game's text has been fixed by Eldritch. It will be in the next patch :)
