I have a few questions that i was wondering if you could answer please.
1) how do i change the tile size in mapped3?
2) is it possible to instance or create a type and check for it
3) what networking is there? is it possible to create a 2 player game?

Any answers would be welcomed, thankyou for your time.

You can't change tile size, and there are no user-defined types. Sorry! Luckily your third question has a more satisfying answer --multiple copies of VERGE can communicate over the internet using the netcode functions, which are documented here. It's much, much more work than a 1p game, but you can do it.

ok, thanks for the answer. It helped a lot :)

EDIT - Does making a network connection send any information automatically? (eg. other players)
Is there a tutorial that anyone can direct me too please.

Verge's netcode is rudimentary at best, more an afterthought on an engine that up until recently was only capable of single player games. Making a multiplayer game is very much like buttering toast with a brick: it's possible, but not really the right tool for the job. If you're dead set on making something multiplayer, the easiest method is to go off and search for another games creation engine with more powerful netcode. Yes.

I dunno, that seems a bit extreme. As long as you're willing to build the communication scheme ground-up it shouldn't be a problem.
