I'm sure I saw the answer to this once a long time ago when I was lurking through these forums, but... why does Verge, when not maximized, default to just a title bar that you have to resize?

For anyone who cares, I'm running Windows 98SE. (Because I think Windows XP is part of a secret government conspiracy to get everyone to switch to the OpenGEM O/S.)

Yeah, that's a bug that seems to only appear in Win98...and probably previous versions of windows. Unfortunately there's nothing you can do about it. =/

Hey...that OpenGEM stuff sounds good...but...heck, it won't run Windows stuff...darn monopoly.

We can only hope that one day they get rid of this problem when you set 'automax 0' in user.cfg.

I also run Win98, and sometimes I have to set 'automax 1' because my wrist begins to hurt after doing the same resizing drags every single time I run VERGE.
