Hi everyone,

I would like to play this game, but I'm having a few problems.

First, the game started but colors were very messed up. Furthermore, the game used fullscreen mode, but only utilized a very small portion of the upper left of the screen - leaving a black void for almost the entirety of the monitor.

Okay, fine. I changed the color mode to 16 colors, and resolution to 640 x 480.

This time, colors are fine. Again same problem with the game only taking up part of the full screen, but this time it takes up about 1/5 of the screen rather than only a immeasurably small portion.

I suppose at this point, the game is playable. Just doesn't look great.

Fine, I try to run it in DOS under DOSBox, but it says "NO DPMI - Get csdpmi*b.zip". I have googled around for this file a bit, and found one or two files, but tried to use them to no avail. I get some kind of page fault or general protection fault.

I guess if it is working fine in the weird small window, then beggars cannot be choosers and I should be happy with that. Just asking here and being thorough before settling for that. Thanks.

Hola :)

I'm guessing you're running Windows 10, because I ran it out of the box and ran into the same issue.

What worked for me was opening winv2.cfg and changing the line

windowmode 0

to
windowmode 1

Then just maximized it myself. Colours look good. It does stretch it out a little, but definitely more playable.

Hope that works for you :)
