Hey, I've just downloaded the latest version of Verge, and I seem to be having some problems with the Maped program included with it. Whereas the old Maped asked for .NET framework 1.1 to be installed, this new Maped wants framework 2.0.50727.

So, two questions really - where can I download this version of .NET framework (all I can seem to find is v. 2 and v. 3), and how large is it once installed?

(Or alternatively, is there a link to the version of Maped that still uses .NET 1.1?)

Also, I thought I'd ask this in here instead of posting another bloody question - does V3 work okay on Windows XP and Vista? Right now I'm using 98.

Thanks for your time, guys. :)

Code

I'm fairly certain that either .NET 2.0 or 3.0 will do the trick. I have version 2.0, and it's extremely likely that we're using the same Maped.

V3 works great on XP, but I have no idea about Vista. What are you still doing with 98, anyway? ;P

Downloaded v 2.0 and it now *appears* to be loading but then comes up with an error message and asking if I would like to debug.

I'm really not sure why I'm getting this as, like I said, the older Maped worked fine when I DL'ed Framework 1.1 for it.

If anyone has any ideas what's going on, I'd appreciate their help. *Starts to regret deleting older ver. of Maped* :/

Yeah, exactly. I'm finally going to upgrade in a few weeks.

That's strange. I guess I would blame Windows 98, since that seems to be the only difference between our setups.

Oh, and Verge does work on Vista
