my new windows maped crashes every single time i try to save.....it auto-saves fine, but i cant save the vsp because that is not auto-saved....so i get a weird map with blank spots....

I have tried saving without even doing any changes and it still crashes...also on another computer I can get it to save fine, but the whole thing is rather unstable. I find myself saving every 2 minutes or so out of paranoia. I know this version wont be around for too much longer, but I am trying to use it to get back into the tile making process in preparation for V3.

The computer that it crashes on everytime it saves is an Intel P3 with 384 mgs of ram running Windows XP Pro and the one it is just unstable on is a P4 with 256 mgs of ram running Windows XP Home....

Basically all I am wondering is if there is a way to fix the stability issues. If you need more stats that is no problem, I just dont know what else would be relevant.

Hey Mac, I'm in the middle of getting my system back up to speed and everything installed again (due to the failure of my boot drive recently,) but I'd be more than happy to investigate and see what I can find.

Ideally we should hook up via ICQ on a weekend, or any weekday after about 7pm CST. Then we can get a dialogue going, a few builds sent your way, and just spend a little time troubleshooting.

This would probably be the quickest way to get the issue resolved, as I've heard of no similar experiences from others, and am not able to duplicate this behavior locally.

Anywho, regardless, I'll make sure and take a bit of a look. Thanks for the heads up!
