Ok, I know that this sounds perfectly silly, but I'm attempting to build a sequencer/synthesizer in Verge.
Problem is, I can't think of a solution to change the pitch of a sample and there probably is none (that's ok), so I have to go the hard way on the synth:
A short saw tooth sample that repeats needs to be cut off at the end in order to change its pitch. Yet, as the sample is played back 100 times/sec, I can't use GetSongPos to modify the loop.

So, question is: Is there a way to cut off the end of a loaded sound file?

One possible answer to your problem is writing a .wav file with your pitch-changed sample, and loading that :B

Yep... but that wouldn't be quite as neat instrument-wise...

Ben McGraw's lovingly crafted this website from scratch for years.
It's a lot prettier this go around because of Jon Wofford.
