Um. I downloaded the newest verge.exe and it seems to demand the presence of a "test.map." I don't want to use maps at all.

Silly indeed! Apparently that just happens when the end of the AutoExec routine is reached without the Exit routine being called :P Sorry?

That is kinda bad if you don't wanna annoy the user with a message box...

Test.map? That sounds to me like it may just be an extraneous debug thingummabob that shouldn't be there.

Regardless of an Exit() command, if VERGE runs out of code to run and hasn't loaded any maps it should just exit.

There's another extraneous debug thing too: those .DUMP files you'll find in your VERGE directory each time v3 loads a map. Vecna knows about those though and will hopefully remember to remove them from the next release. Lets hope the test.map thing goes the same way, assuming it IS a debug feature. Can't imagine what it'd be there for otherwise...
