i do recall once i saw a screenshot of verge on psp. maybe i was hallucinating. didnt matter much to me then until i got my hands on my own psp. felt that the current rpgs kind of suck, feel like waltzing with verge again.

any tutorials on getting verge games to work on a psp?

Not that I'm aware of. So feel free to write one.

I don't know how you'd get Verge onto the PSP and running - I assume there would be instructions in the downloaded archive. Everything else, I'd assume would be the same as Verge itself - which is to say, put all the files from someone's game into the same folder as the PSP EXE and hope that you don't get a version mismatch problem.

The PSP thing was a Zeromus project. We'll have to ask him how to replicate...

One would need to get the klatest verge compiling on psp. that would involve installing the homebrew psp sdk and fiddling with the source and makefiles. Then one would have to learn how to hack his psp firmware or whatever it is you have to do nowadays to run homebrew games.

Then one would be a mite disappointed by the performance, as I recall, but I dont remember how bad it was.

It wasn't that bad. We had paradise island running well enough to play it. I figured it was just a matter of doing things in a differenter, more betterer way to get it up to snuff.
