Ok, so I could have sworn I saw this as a topic somewhere for just cannot seem to find it.
I have a map with several layers, but I would like my character to be able to walk between some of them. For example, to walk *behind* a tree and not over it or just be blocked by it.
If someone has a clue what I'm talking about (or simply can point me to the other topic), it would be appreciated.

Just go into Maped, and drag the the tree tile layer above the entities layer.
There's also a Render String/rstring section in the layer panel, which shows a condensed version of the draw order. E is entities, anything after E in the rstring will be drawn afterwards.
And if for some reason you need to modify the layer order while you're in the game, there's curmap.rstring. You shouldn't need that for this example, but might for something like an overpass that the player can walk both above and below.
Hope that helps!

Hmm, tried moving the layers before I posted, but as soon as it passed into the "Retrace" section, it stopped moving and wouldn't go past the Entities layer.
I'll try it again, and thanks for the other info, I'm sure that'll come in handy.
Edit: Gah, works this time. Can't tell you what happened last time, but we're all good now. Thanks again.
