I've looked, I can't see how I'm supposed to do this.

So I'll bite. How am I supposed an entity layer to a new map in MapEd?

v3_engine_2004-04-04a.rar ?

The one marked "MAPED HAS A FIX SO YOU CAN CREATE NEW MAPS"?

Yeah, got that one. Creating a new map in Maped still produces a map without an entity layer for me.

Sorry about that, Resident. The bugfix occurred when I was out of town, so I never made a sexy update. and then I was just lazy because we're about to have a new version.

Yeah, I suck.

Oh yeah, that put the cat among the pigeons. Or the entities list among the retrace layers. Whatever.

Thanks. That's GOT to be a lot more elegant than my current work around, which was using an emptied Sully map.

Hee hee. Traditionally with V2 I would make one map for the entire game and then "save as" it whenever I wanted a new map. That was mostly because I didn't feel like copying dozens of zones parameters, though..
