Grue's home computer is having problems or something, and he doesn't have his site password at work, so he can't update. But he still loves you.
Site Issues
For the longest time, there have been a handful of problematic quirks in the vrpg scripts that soulbain and lore have yet to work out. I've been hoping these would be fixed, and I've pointed most of them out several times, but nothing's really been done about it. Grue might (emphasis on "might") help fix the site up the rest of the way if/when he has more free time. But that's about all the interest I've been able to dig up in repairing the site. Now don't you just feel special?
The problems I've noticed to date are: if you submit a file, you have to prefix the url with "http://" or else it craps up. The problem with the tables in the files area (the description cell width particularly) was fixed in the xmas layout, but nobody's taken care of it in this one. There are also a few quirks in the message boards (namely the nested "re:"s) that need to be ironed out. If I can get anyone to work on the bleeding site, I'll also see if I can do away with the fixed-width, and perhaps employ a slightly larger font or two. Verge Source Downtime
Coincidentally, the Verge Source server is going through some sort of change and is currently down.
