Okay! We've got a new site up that I've worked far too long on. Be wary, for it's probably not going to be pleasant for the next few days.
First off, if you already have an account and want to recover it, use the password recovery feature. Otherwise, sign up for a new account.
Second, during either of these processes, if you follow the verification link from your email and nothing happens, try logging in. It only happens some of the time, and I've never been able to replicate it.
Also, for some ineffible reason, mozilla users have a difficult (read: impossible) time using some of my forms. If those of you who are smarter than me could look at the source when this happens, and tell me how I'm an idiot in the website-issues forum, I'd be very appreciative.
Thanks to Andy and Mike Freligh for having the foresight to archive the amalgamated files of 7 years of VERGE, and thanks to Actinium for manually uploading them to the archive via the webform when my FTP kept corrupting them. Acty's spent a bunch of time putting the current files up, so the upload system's had quite a testing.
The articles section is half-functional right now... Tatsumi provided the vergesource's awesome Table of Contents and Article Display code, but I have to go through the current article selection (there are more up there, just turned 'off') and update the formatting to be compatible.
There's a lot more planned for the site, but I'll get to that later.
...
Oh yeah, there might be some things in the v3 section of the Files...
