For those of you who haven't been following my LiveJournal, I've been brushing up maped2w in proportion to the feedback I've been getting. We've crept up to version 2.4.14 now! Here's a quick estimation of what's new since 2.4.7:
  • parallax multipliers of 0 allowed again
  • Add Tiles button in tile selector no longer crashes
  • paste mode indicator is now Paste Mode instead of the uninformative P
  • can now scroll down in the selector when importing tiles
  • double buffering is default render method instead of page flipping now -- dramatically sped up translucent blits (as well as normal blits on my machine, it seems)
  • can toggle between windowed and fullscreen mode
  • screenshots no longer overwrite existing screenshots
  • various minor visual artifacts leaving smudges and trails resolved
I've also split the distribution into two archives: executable and resource. The full explanation can be had over at my LiveJournal. For the lazy among you:

Note that the resource archive does not contain anything new since version 2.4.7.

I have no moment of zen to share with you, but I do have a riddle! What is left on the forest floor in the wake of mystical blue woodland creatures? (hint: headline) For those of you chuckling now, for shame! And furthermore, keep those bug reports coming!
