Wooly, verger of ancient legend and reknown, has released a prequel to his ortiginal v1 game! It features a custom menu, a weather and day/night system, and a battle system, as well as being all SNES-nostalgic with FF4/5 style graphics and interestingly translated text! Check it out!

There'll be a more information-laden reviewish newspost soon courtesy of Gayo, but for now, check it out!

Very cool:)

I loved the first one, with the amazing 2 second V1 FMV at the start:) I think I still have a copy somewhere in my computer archives.

Well done. The Engrish and mistranslation enhanced the play value, strangely. I like the container idea that was implemented in this game. The weather effects were pretty cool. The game's pretty much off to a good start, but now I liek want moar pls rofl. ...Hmm, I wonder what War of Fire will be like after the dialogue fixes?

Been working on this game since a long time. I've done some musics and been busy writing a book that will eventually be published (I hope so!). That`s mostly what I`m doing these days.

An addendum to the Main Page's claim that the old V1 one is missing from the VERGE site:

There's a copy here. So technically, that statement is untrue. :)

Bleah. Leave it to me not to check the Files section before I open my big mouth.

It's a lot prettier this go around because of Jon Wofford.
