Server Update:

You may have had trouble accessing verge-rpg.com over the past few days. We've had some hardware flakiness. We will be swapping our hardware to determine the problem so there will probably be additional downtime over the next few days. Sorry about the trouble, and thanks for your continued support.

And now, here's the word from Praetor on tVO:

The Verge Olympics, you've heard the hype, you've seen the debates. Here's what's up as of this post:

The Verge Olympics are going to be held. They will run from Jan 2nd thru Jan 15th and will be split up into several "events." The main event will be a 336 HoV contest (that's 14 days) and will serve as the backbone of the contest. Anything goes. Unlimited team size, no size limits. The only restriction is that it must conform to the theme.

And for those without that much ambition, there'll be events similar to last year's competition featuring (providing there is enough interest) contests in music, art (both pixelate and non-pixelate), and code. Each sub-contest will consist of two rounds and the person with the most points at the end wins.

As a final note, all voting will be public. Naturally, you'll not be able to vote for the event in which you participate, but you are encouraged to vote in all of the other events.

And once again, here is your moment of zen:

Ben McGraw's lovingly crafted this website from scratch for years.
It's a lot prettier this go around because of Jon Wofford.
