Just though I'd ask: would an art critique forum be a good idea? This place needs somewhere for Vergers to show off their game graphics and get some praise / constructive criticism. This sort of thing would really help people get their characters and scenery just the way they want 'em, in particular sideways walking animations (good grief I hate those...). I spent some time with AGS (adventure games creation system) and their art forum was flourishing with coolness. Alternatively, a general critics area for art, music and code improvements would be equally good, if not better.

Oh, I see how it is... I put in a java client, and I make quoting, and suddenly it's all "Oh, mcgrue will grant our every wish and so therefore we must do our wishing while the wishing's still good!"

Mmmm, yeah. I'll go add that forum.

It's been 5 days since I agreed to this. In those 5 days I've moved to a new appartment and currently only have net access from libraries and cybercafes.

When I have internet at home again, I shall put up a new forum.
