Overkill
I would find it useful if you could edit anonymous posts that have the same IP as the IP you're accessing from.

That, or at least, put a notice saying "You're not logged in!" in large enough letters on the 'create new thread' page.

You mean something like a box saying "Your post will be worth more merit if you log in" with a link to the login thing?

Yep. That's it, they finally added it, so that issue was resolved.
