Feature Request - Header Caching

For some sites that have lots of data that needs to be updated continously, the use of things like:
header("pragma: no-cache;");
Basically designed to force the browser to refresh the page, are usefull. But eh, I don't like it when I want to look back at something, say the forum's first page, and it tries to refresh the page becuase it's "expired". Could a administrator please remove the caching. It makes the pages load all the time :P
