I was just reading the awesome manual that Grue and a whole bunch of other, cooler than me people are putting together, and I was checking out the old Verge Repo, and locke was posting some stats on website traffic.

Anyway, I thought I'd post some now in case anyone was wondering how we're doing.

The #1 search phrase used to find verge-rpg.com this month is.... wait for it....

'dc%2b%2b'

Yeah, I have no idea what it means either. 'verge' is #2, though. 'unreal' is #3, and 'rpg engine' is #4.

'ben franklin' is #13 and 'extroverted suicide' is #20. Oh well, at least 'oralsex' isn't near the top of the list, like it was for a year straight awhile back.

The month of August brought us 573k hits, with almost 10,000 unique visitors.*

Yesterday we had 36k hits, with 528 unique visitors, and 316 megs of data transferred.

April was our best month this year, with over 1 million hits.

* A unique visitor is defined as a unique ip address.

** These stats do not include hosted sites.

Browser stats:

Internet Explorer is used by 65% of our visitors. Mozilla is next, at 26%, and below that, it's meaningless shit like search bots and opera.

Ben McGraw's lovingly crafted this website from scratch for years.
It's a lot prettier this go around because of Jon Wofford.
Verge-rpg.com is a member of the lunarnet irc network, and would like to take this opportunity to remind you that regardless how babies taste, it is wrong to eat them.
