That $40.00 deal for a Saturn, two controllers, a 3D joysticks, NiGHTS and four other games on Ebay is SOOOOO tempting...
Maybe something like it will be around by the time I get to college.

Or Revelations: Persona. Even if only to hear the music from in the mall and the velvet room.

Is that related to Revelations: The Demon Slayer for GBC? I have that game for GBColor, and it's pretty interesting.
At one point I played Digital Devil Story/Megami Tensei something on the SNES, which I assume is also related to this series. It seemed...interesting. Only got about two hours into it, maybe? That weird part in the mall when the monsters attack was scary.

Nights, yes. Tomb Raider, you should be shot.
RageCage has a saturn, and I play Shining Force on it when I go over there. I urge everyone to get Shining Force 3, because it is awesomeness in its purest form.

Revalations: The Demon Slayer is actually the Last Bible series in japan, which is indeed a spin off of the Shin Megami Tensei series. Good call. :D If you like them, Persona 2: Eternal Punishment actually came to the states, you might be lucky and have a local video rental place that has it. The Persona series is also a spin-off of Shin Megami Tensei, but it's more closely connected than the more medieval themed Last Bible series.
There's just something appealing about capturing demons and using them to obliterate your foes that is mildly entertaining. :D
-edit:
But damn, Revalations: Demon Slayer has some pretty good music for a GBC game. I really, REALLY liked the last boss music.

Shining Force: Yes, the Saturn Shining Force games are something I've always wanted to play, having only ever experienced the Mega Drive/Genesis ones. But this is only possible if I'm prepared to shell out £35+ per game on ebay. Which I'm not.
Tomb Raider 4: A terrible game, especially on Playstation. The PC/Dreamcast version was halfway bearable, but still shite. The best bit was the hilarious ending.

I went and read through an FAQ for Persona I on Gamefaqs.com.
Sounds like a game I want to play. There are too many games from the 32-bit days I didn't get to play that I wish I did. And the Saturn is so tempting. I know it's an empty hole to sink money into, but my little brother sunk $40 into a Dreamcast last Christmas, and I tell you, I'm willing to do it again. Darn systems that never lived up to their potential, too.
$40 dollars seems like such a small price to pay for a Saturn and a lot of games...it really does sound like a feasible idea. Will Ebay only accept credit cards?

Ebay depends entirely on the seller, but the easiest payment method, Paypal odes require a card of some sort.
I've spent about £60 in total over the last year on a Dreamcast and various games, and it's been well worth it - considering a couple of mediocre PC titles would have cost the same.
Still have my Megadrive in working condition too. Warsong is the best game. :)

I garauntee that you won't regret a 35 "pound" purchase of Shining Force III. It is the best game ever, far far superior to FFT or other tactics RPGs. Try it!

But that would mean also having to buy a Saturn. More expense... I wish I had lots of money.

The Saturn has a wealth of great games. There are a bunch more Shining games, and Nights, and some Panzer Dragoon, and some other good stuff. Buy one!

I probably will, but I've been saying that since about 1998. And I have to buy a new guitar first, so I'll be cleared of cash for the next five years or so... :(

I went and made myself a list of Saturn games to buy if I ever get a Paypal account on Ebay. Check:
Blazing Heroes
Saturn Bomberman
NiGHTS
Christmas NiGHTS
Tomb Raider
Shining Force Wisdom, Holy Ark
Shining Force 3, 1st, 2nd, 3rd Scenario
Street Fighter Alpha 2 & 3
Battle Arena Toshinden /Ultimate Revenge Attack
Panzer Dragoon Saga
Panzer Dragoon
Panzer Dragoon II Zwei
Shin Megami Tensei Soul Hackers
Virtual Tennis
Virtual On
Chaos Seed
Croc
Duke Nukem 3D
Clockwork Knight 1 & 2
Sonic R
Resident Evil
Dracula X
Grandia
Guardian Heroes
Gungriffon 1/2
Marvel Super Heroes v. Street Fighter
Radiant Silvergun
Burning Rangers
Diehard Trilogy
Diehard Arcade
Virtua Cop 1 & 2
Jurassic Park: The Lost World
Dragon Force 1 & 2
House of the Dead
Note that I'm not a big fan of Virtua Fighter 2, though I hear it's very good. Also, some of those games are imports, and I'm not even sure what Chaos Seed is, but it did sound cool.

Acording to people who know about such things, apparently only the first installment of Shining Force 3 was released outside of Japan, so unless you speak the lingo you should probably pass on those.

I see. Well, I think I'm kinda pleased with the games I found for it, but I wonder...if I get around to an Ebay account and buying this stuff, will it really be worth the purchase, or will I just be pouring money into a big hole?
In all honesty I'd like to have a Saturn and a copy of NiGHTS, and if we're gonna buy that we might as well buy another game or two. But I don't want to put money into this for nothing.

If you're going to enjoy the games then it's probably worth it. And certain Saturn games are only getting more and more valuable... might be a sound investment.

Alex is indeed correct about SF3. Apparently the people who purportedly know such things do in fact know the things which they are purported to know. It is a sad loss, too, as the first scenario is amazing. All the Shining games for Saturn are awesome.

Yes, I have to credit RageCage, or possibly Vecna, for that SF3 info.
They are indeed the people who purportedly know these things.
