Dislike of Ham, may in fact be Unamerican.

(1) Ham is something Muslims will not eat.
(2) Muslims do not wear pants. (Not respectable denim pants)
(3) Pants are the path to equality to God.
(4) God is an American.

THEREFORE

Dislike of ham is unamerican, and most likely a blatant sabatoge of our war efforts. These are all good reasons why I don't like ham. Also, KHRSRRSSS!

Unless he was using ham as a relative verb coherent to today's society... perhaps khross likes ham more than we think.

Perhaps you've been on the man-train too long. You can not disregard the importance of pants in these matters.

If I follow the logic here, you feel it is important to not wear pants, in order to prove your dislike for ham, thus helping the muslims?

I must say, you argue the point well, I'm just not sure I understand it.

Let me just say that I am very impressed with the display of quote nesting in this thread. Grue, your PHP skills are indeed expansive.

That's true. And I've had no problems with the site in "ultra anal don't let anybody do anything" security, without having needed to put you on the trusted sites list.

Uhhh.. Ham-train, that's what he meant to say, I think.

New lows... new lows... This thread used to be about GUNS N' ROSES. Less man train, more Nightrain.

That's a close second.

HERE IS HAM.

With the presence of the Ham, this thread has fulfilled its destiny and can now die a dignified death. Let us all mourn its metaphorical passing with our silence, and not poke at its carcass with the pointy sticks of further posts.

Anyone know of any songs about ham?
that'd be awesome if there was; or some poems about ham even!

Moxy Fruvous have a song entitled "Green Eggs and Ham", a tribute to the Seussian favourite.

I might also point out that Professor JRR Tolkien was years ahead of the VERGE community and even Dr. Seuss (I believe), with his short story "Farmer Giles of Ham".

I know of a reggae song about green eggs and ham, too.

We could always re-write Monty Python's Spam song, but it might be hard to get it to rhyme and keep the same rhythm and stuff.

I know! Hey Grue, can you add a [generate song about ham] button, next to [quote]?

In Ham's Way:

Pinky meat, so sweat to eat
Most corpselike flesh
Among the food groups
Lord of Lunchmeat
King of Coldcuts
Sultan of Sidemeat
I am the ham, I cover all

A loaf of bread, a leg of swine, and thou
To take your ham in holy matrimonia
Dry smoked and rubbed with salt, Virginia
But look...here's Gina and her sweet proscuitto
I love to cook the schweinefleisch with Pam! Wonderful Pam!
I think that I will never eat
A poem more beautiful than a ham

The ham creeps in on little pig feet
and winds up in tiny plastic pouches
Mm! The ham! Hammity ham, wonderful ham!
Aspiring lunchtime fullness, crouches:
duodenum, porcine prince, to meet
fulfilling end, my mouth, a treat!
Mm! The ham!

That's sad... we need 21 more posts to make a landmark 300! perhaps this thread can make it into the 'threads of greatness' forum!
