This is a game we played in drama class. You sit in a circle, and someone starts off by saying a word. Then the next person says a word. You keep going around the circle, and every time it comes to you you say a word. The goal is to tell a reasonably coherant story, every person contributing one word at a time.
I'll start: "Suddenly"
Edit: You can say 'the' and 'a' together with the word that comes next: "the tree" or "a large"

Also this game generally devolves into an outrageously stupid mess of PENIS BALLS YOUR MOM etc. etc., but hopefully VERGE is a bit more mature. Hopefully.
