what does your desktop look like?

 | I recently set up my desktop to look like this. ObjectDock takes a bit of memory, but it is so good eyecandy that it is worth it, at least for now. :3

On the top left is Samurize with some performance meters. Trillian Pro and Winamp with somewhat matching skins as the one I'm using for the rest of Windows.

Objectdock would really complete my OSX look, I bet.

By the way, it appears the screennames have been changed to protect the innocent...

I had the cardboard samurai for a while as my desktop. But I keep the desktop pictures only for one or two weeks. After that they start to annoy me and I switch back to the my old, trusty RGB(128,128,128) background colour.

And now for something completly different:

 | Can't read the picture. Looks like KDE.
What Linux distribution? I'm thinking of getting PhatLinux so I can warm up my skillz under Windows.

EDIT: Suddenly PhatLinux isn't so phat anymore. It's not free--must have changed since I last saw it three years ago :(

Around 2GB of Linux stuffed onto one single, self-booting CD. With V3.4 there is also a script included which allows a (more or less) painless install to your HD.

If you want to download it, I recommend BitTorrent. It took me just under 2 hours to get it.

And it's free of course.

Hehe, how didn't I notice this before. You're UK aren't you? Never watched any Chris Moriss stuff? If not, go and watch Brass Eye now. :D

Seen Brasseye. Chris Morris is both mad and brilliant. The Doctor Frankenstein of comedy.

My desktop is one of the promo images for Jam - less funny, more painful, but still very Chris Morris.

 | I was wondering if your font was as gigundous on your AIM as it was on mine, Ger.

 | it all started when like 3/4 of my AIM buddies switched to gAIM, and then complained because my font was rendered really really tiny. Apparently for them ~40pt is closer to reasonable!

 | I had dual monitors a short period.

But I found that I hardly ever used the second monitor. I'm too used to alt-tab. It's too much trouble to turn my head back and forth.
