Troupe and I are on a remixing frenzy but can't decide on a soundtrack we would like to remix next. So, we're coming to you guys for ideas!

So if anyone has any requests (preferrably soundtracks that haven't been remixed to death all ready), feel free to post a reply, and we'll see what we can come up with. ^_^

Revelations: The Demon Slayer. I don't know how or where you'd get any material for it, since Zophar.net doesn't have any files. But someone on here has already said that the music rocks (especially the battle themes), and indeed I think it does.

So, if you ever run across anything, give R:TDS a try :)

Blarg, if its not on Zophar I doubt I could get a hold of the music. If anyone has the files somehow, or knows where to get one, let us know. What platform is it on?

I actually have the physical cartridge here on my desk. I could probably record the battle music and the boss theme, although the last bosses music is probably the best. I wish GBS files were as easy to make as SPC's.

If you give us the source material, we'll do the rest ^_^

Rysen got the ROM, but we can't figure out how to rip any of the music. If anyone can lend a hand that'd be nice.

Agreed. I looked into seeing if I could rip the sound myself, but as you probably know, it seems pretty difficult.

I did find a site with a couple of mp3's from it.

Blue Zodiakos: Any chance you could get that final boss music for us? And thanks for the offer to record the other two, but it looks like we've all ready got them!

If it helps, Zophar DOES have the GBC Revelations Save State from right before the final battle.

Load SaveState, plug it in to an emulator, output to WAV...

Phantasy Star is quite lacking in sexy remixes.

The Skies of Arcadia: Legends ("Eternal Arcadia" in Japan) soundtrack needs more love. I'd really enjoy hearing some reinterpretations of that if anyone has the tunes from it handy.

Especially, of merit, I'd love a remix of the ship-to-ship battle theme and the main title music.

Alrighty, well these should hold us over for awhile. Thanks for the suggestions. ^_^

Omni, that's a brilliant idea. I had actually considered playing through the entire game and just recording the music via emulator every time I heard a new song. But I like your idea better. ;P

Wild Arms could use some sexy remixing too, but we'd need Mariachis and choirs for that. :D

Paladin's Quest!

I'm such a deviant.

That IS devia...dev... devious. I never could beat the last boss of PQ, being as I ran from almost every battle in the latter half of the game. I was like 12 at the time. My friend's dad (whom I borrowed the game off of) wondered just how in the hell I even got to the last boss with my levels so insanely low. I told him "Very Creatively". I actually beat the second to last boss, but you know, he's easy because of your special spell.

That's great that there is a save state that leads right to the last boss in R:DS! I've been dying for years to get up the nerve to tackle that game again to get to the end.

He said enough!! :D

Skies of Arcadia- I'll look at it. I've heard good things about it.

Wild Arms- Still need to beat WA3, but that game does have some excellent music

Earthbound- Look into that one two, I can't remember if I've heard the music much.

Paladin's Quest- What the hell is this, some kind of Phillips CD-i adventure game?

Ha. Phillips CD-i adventure games. I remember reading about those crappy Zelda titles.

Another idea! Lunar! (or...Grandia!) Both of which, in my opinion, have very good music.

Lunar has awesome music. I made a guitar arrangement for "Wind's Nocturne", which I never tracked, but actually play on my guitar.

My favourite from that soundtrack though is "The Mysterious Cave".

I've never played Grandia, but I do own Grandia 2. I've heard 1 is a lot better, and certainly nothing has really stood out for me musically in 2. It suits the game well, though.

I myself have never played Grandia either. I personally enjoyed "A Deus", and it's punk-rock variant on the soundtrack disc.

...darn, I can't remember those names.
