Well, this is basically my first time 'painting' in a image editing suite. I was trying to emulate the layered look of prisma markers or whatever it is those anime-ppls use, but I obviously didn't spend very much time refining the style.
Anyways, here it is; your moment of zen:

AAAAAARRRRRRRRGGGGGGHHHH!
The insanity!
That doesn't look like Paradise Isle. How did Sully get there? Surely he's not some kind of peramulatory clam?
Gloggy, Sully, Zeux snd - crap, I've forgotten the Furballs name... *goes off to download Blimpo Warrior*
edit: Aaaah, yes. Joe. Joe the Furball.

Why? Egometry is not only devoid of content, but also doesn't display properly in Firefox.
On as side note, nicestuffs, if you wanna do more of this I'd be interested to see it. I'd think about using clean black lines rather than sketchy ones, and keeping the colour even simpler. The visible brush overlap in the background is kewl, but the orange is more scribbly looking. Is there anything you don't do? Also, when is saga of the stars (complete with cell art) out?

Why? Because it is mine.
Sketchy: Yes, pencil not pen.
Orange: yes, learned a little on this one. The BG came out best because I did it last.
Maybe I will recolor it later.

Keeping the pencil lines on their own multiply layer prevents the white aliasing you see around their edges.

You know, I use layers a lot but I never ever considered doing that to effectively separate lines from their background.
I am a fool.

Sully looks kind of like a ravioli, now that I think about it.

i got inspired, and drew some and resized/pixelized it and reworked it. it's my lil space police! (note: yeah, his face area became one pixel too tall, i'm lazy)

Actually, I assumed the orange effect was representitive of the fact that Joe is a Furball and hence has fur. It supplies a more 'textured' look for him that I personally think works pretty well.
Here's a random crime against pixel art that I made ahes ago, and just found while wandering 'round my hard disk.

Uh more will come soon, finished stuff, not speedpaintings. I've been wasting a lot of time recently on paid contracts and redoing my webpage, but now I have time to do personal artstuffs again. Unless grue keeps trying to hurl projects at me.

Awesome grue! And the style is called cel-shading ^_^ Its easiest to use layers with cel-shading, Ive found *scratches head* Anyways, here's a cel-shaded Robin from Teen Titans I did when I was bored awhile back..

Mmm... I think celshading isn't recisely what I was doing. Celshading in photoshop makes use of smudging a lot from my understanding. I was, in my halfassed quick newbish way attempting a watercolor dealie.
