Great idea, might even lure my interest in submitting.
On the credit issue, who the heck cares if it's music for public use? I guess I'm just bored with having a rep wether it is good or bad, so maybe the upcoming musicians still like to get credit, but I'd basically not care. I'd be glad if someone used it, it is for that purpose I'd submit my creations, not to be advertised.
Yucky american thinking, good deeds must always equal self-promotion. Try to bring something good to the world you useless humans! (vecna and mcgrue excluded, they are the only awesome irish and/or bastardized americans on this board)

ohaye. Anything you put on the internet with even the smallest glimmer of quality will be invariably ripped off. Who the hell gives a crap, really? The only troubling outcome is when someone takes your tiles and chrs and makes them fuck horses and thingsas in the case of Hahn's tiles.
Creepy. Anyhow, I certainly think art and tiles should have a nice public domain vault, but it really doesn't need its own site. If the file system had the ability to show gif previews of files for screenshots and things, or display gifs, jpgs, and pngs outright.
