I don't think it's fair to say "the last multi engine compo had only 2 entries". I have already said that was due to bad timing on my part, in 2 ways: school and verge compos before it this summer. I find it difficult to believe though that of the many teams entering, only 2 submitted because of verge compos. They weren't using verge, so it had to be something else that stopped them. Not even "Your Mother" could get coordinated this time.

As for me being disapponted, it was just because there were only 2 entries. And when I said the results were crap, I didn't mean that, and should never have said it. What I was trying to say (for the Nth time) was that I didn't like having only 2 entries. The entries were good.

And the last thing I want to say is that if verge-rpg.com runs a multi-engine compo, I won't have to, and therefore won't. I hope that was VERY clear. I don't WANT to run another one if verge-rpg.com will, because I'd rather participate.

And it's dumb to believe that it garners less interest by being a multi-engine compo, since you're taking off limitations instead of adding new ones. Previous multi-engine compos have had about 10 entries, which is awesome. The timing was terrible, and throw a little bit of coincidence in there too.

But anyway, whatever. Grue has given up on it, so there is no point in posting here again.

And "for the record", I am 100% behind Grue and all his policies and so-forth regarding this kind of stuff. I generally don't tend to get too involved, but Grue is the man of and for the community, and his unrelenting bravado to help everyone speaks for itself.

That said, vec, I still think you should ask her out before it's too late!

Ben McGraw's lovingly crafted this website from scratch for years.
It's a lot prettier this go around because of Jon Wofford.
Verge-rpg.com is a member of the lunarnet irc network, and would like to take this opportunity to remind you that regardless how babies taste, it is wrong to eat them.
