Feyr

Eh, why not. I'm (ultimately) working on a sidescrolling platformer with my girlfriend, largely because she finds the sight of me coding sexy. =P She's both an artist and a musician, so that leaves me with the code.

In the local sense, I'm writing infrastructure for this and future games. Right at this moment I'm working on ClassBuilder, a code generator for creating DMA-based pseudo-classes. I have a working copy that I finished yesterday, but I'm giving the code some much-needed refactoring and bloat-trimming, as well as making the input format a bit friendlier.

Current features include:
Automatic generation of constructor, destructor and get/set functions for fields in each class.
Inheritance of fields and code segments, with polymorphism.
Destructor inheritance.
Easy access to fields from code segments within the class, through the use of the $FieldName$ and $Class.Instance.FieldName$ macros.

And a couple other things. Currently it works from the command line (or .bat file, which is what I prefer...that way the classes get rebuilt every time I run Verge), but the possibility of a web-based interface is open.

That's a nice looking box there in SotS Grue.

Why do you think it is I've just wasted many, many hours making Sully's textboxes very configurable? ;)

She does your art and your music and she's your girlfriend? It's like the VERGE fantasy person!

I think the 'thinks it's sexy when coding' bit is the more amazing part.

Feyr... does she have a sister? :(

Feyr... does she have a sister? :(
Sorry, she's an only child, and I'm a very lucky geek. ;P

Overkill

Here are the projects I am working on:

Untitled Platform Game
A game that will combine difficulty with fun. Precise jumps, challenging enemies, and more await you. Engine is almost complete, game content is on it its way. (Note: the Blue Yoshi will likely not be in any release)

Shooter Seven
An intense shooter with retro arcade challenge of old, combined with unique customizable attacks. Blast your way through hordes of enemies, and watch out for their return fire. Fun and difficulty combined. (Note: the eyeball is a placeholder for the player. Hopefully will fix that soon)

Shadow Realms
A different take on the RPG experience. Mixes the Final Fantasy Legend with SaGa Frontier.

And finally, projects I've worked on:

Verge3 Console
A debug tool, created to make development of V3 projects easier. It even plays Columns! Just slip it in with your VERGE project, and use to look for map errors (obstruction/zone/hotspot display), reading/writing to variables, or just fooling around for fun. Get it here!

...Phew.

EDIT:

<zip> I don't see 'HELPING ZIP, HE'S GREAT' anywhere
...I like helping zip too. He's a cool dude, great guy. He even took over my 'MAKmak' project.

I am *glad* I didn't include an 'abondoned project' list.

Bitmonkey

I'm working on Ultimate super mega deluxe... omega... fantasia... elite... squadron... Nights. Yeah.

or not. :P I should learn the basics first.

In all actuality, when I get going I'll be working towards some basic demos and then some fan-games that we all love so much :P I am SO not a pixel-artist, so most of it will be stolen in some way. My big project that I'm dreaming about right now would be an (at least a little) original RPG. That's my goal, originality. of course, I can write them, I will code them, but I fear they may look like crap :P

(p.s.) And who is this Zip? Tell me that I may worship him.

You may worship him without knowing him.

Believe it or not, I actually got around to actually WORKING on something: Yet another sideview game project! And it's actually getting to the point where it resembles something that resembles something that might resemble something useable! Problem is, it's probably WAY too slow. For one thing it uses CallFunction. A LOT. I yearn for pointers...
