Newspost is up. I couldn't get very far because of a bug that filled my field with obstructions after I'd cleared it. RR is pretty buggy in general, but looks promising.

One thing, and I haven't checked the code to be sure: it seems like you're determining what tile the player is on based on the top left pixel of his hotspot rather than the centre of the hotspot. That's a bit confusing.

Do you mean the obstructions appear where there aren't supposed to be after loading a game? If so, I did release a patch to fix both saving/loading, and the music crashes. I linked to it in a couple of posts above. Other than those two (which assumibly have been fixed), and the toolbox bug that Rage pointed out above, I don't know of any other bugs. If you have time, would you mind just pointing out things that need to be fixed? It would be greatly appreciated as I would love to stomp them as soon as possible.
Thanks for the news update. :)

Edit: Also, for the hotspot thing, I never really took into account how the entity.x/y variables worked when I first started the engine. I guess I never really considered it and just assumed that by dividing the number by 16, I would get the tile he's on. I'll tweak that for the next release so that it searches for the center of the hotspot rather than the corner. Thanks for bringing it to my attention.

Yeah, just add entity.hotw/2 to the x value and entity.hoth/2 to the y value before dividing by 16. I'll report other things once I've tried the new release.

Screenies!

I was tired so I took a vacation...

Does it smell like something burning?

Trapped in the void!

Heh, you put the 'zone' that teleports from the town to the ranch in the same place as the teleportation coordinates when you come from the ranch... don't worry... everyone makes this mistake, you would be surprised on how many 'Bug free' complete games have this one... I actually find that bug fun ^_^
