Ok, I'll work with what we have here.
So, can I start a new documentation library in the V3 Documents section, titled "The Beginners' Guide to VERGE." I've already written an intro and I'm half way through a "kit you'll need to make something" tutorial. There will be pictures, useful links, some downloadable content etc.
I plan to basically cover the basics (see what I did there?), including VC script and how to do it, a textbox tutorial, getting character art in, working with maped, tilesets etc.
Is everyone ok with that? Is this all possible? Can I start uploading some bits now?

Also, Hahn and Zero say today is the magic day, so we'll be anouncing things, with luck, tonightish. Don't quote me on that.
I slay me.
I thought yesterday was tomorrow.

Ok, I've put up my current work in progress although by "Pending Library" I assume someone higher up has to OK it before everyone else gets to see it, right?

I'm proud and arrogant, but not quite to that level.
The judgements will be posted tonight. For real.

WOOT! I'm FINALLY back on the internet. After months offline, here I am.
Sorry I'm late.
What do ya need, McG? I've been laying down some serious PHP pipes while offline (Mac OS X rules the school for offline development), so my chops are engaged. I have some time to burn (or I will after next Monday), and I'd love to sink my teeth into some real world functionality development.
Shoot me an email if you want to talk about what you are looking for (in more detail). The side-bar is probably a good start for me.
I'll send you an email to make sure you have my latest contact info.
late.

Ahaha!
Okay, I lied!
The results are all in, and tallied! However, I'm exhausted from a rather active day combined with it being exceptionally hot here.
So, instead of formatting everything in html and the such, you'll all have to wait until the morning. I'm such a cocktease. Sorry.
Also, this short wait gives Interference time to tell me why he only has 3 vsps, and why his entry shouldn't therefore be disqualified. I seem to recall some earlier conversation on these very boards that explained this, but as above stated, I am tired (and cranky) and you'll have to point me there.

I apologise wholeheartedly that we only have three VSPs. I stated my concerns regarding low numbers of tilesets on the grounds that in the time I wouldn't be able to begin work on the map where the fourth tileset is used - namely a spacewalk on the hull of the ship - due to me working to try and get the earliest sections of the game finished first.
You may note that the bridge and work-in-progress passenger deck maps (with relevant VSPs) were included despite the player never getting to see them. The final, 4th VSP was omitted because there wasn't even a map to go with it. Yes, it does exist (as a PNG), but in my hurry - along with subsequent, panicky patching - I didn't stick it with the game. If it makes any difference, I can post it although it's still very much a half-finished job.

Yeah, I thought so. I just spent an hour combing over your game trying to justify not disqualifying you, trying to find a map that was used that had a common vsp with another but still felt like a distinct area, but try as I might I could only figure three distinct areas.
I'm sorry, but I laid down the rules for a reason. If you want to punch me in the head later, filfre. ;(
