Welcome to page 8.

I don't have cable because my mom is a freak.
Not to mention I said I could pay for it; she thinks my dad will watch naughty stuff on the tele... and I'm like "WTF WOMAN! IT'S GONNA BE IN MY ROOM!"
but whatever...

She thinks your Dad will watch "stuff" on TV? That worries me. Deeply.

Alex

So, anything good on TV?

Yes! Busted are on "Friday Night with Johnathan Ross". :D
I'm riveted, I really am. They're so great!

I don't have cable because my mom is a freak.

I don't have cable because I'm poor. That's a better reason. Put your foot down. Tell her if she lets you have cable you'll put her in a nice retirement home when she's old. That's what I did. I no longer live with my mother.

While waiting for the results to roll in, I'm drinking chocolate milk (straight from the half gallon bottle, of course) and it occurred to me how well it would go with some fried ham and a pile of hash browns bigger than my head.

Yes I have a one track mind, and yes it has been derailed, and no there were no survivors, and had there been any, and it had happened on the border between Mexico and the US, they would not have [been] buried in either country.

Meh

shit happens I guess!

My brain... well, that's a different story- and I'm sure some of the old vergers can remember 'jesusfreak' .....

I still have dreams that haunt me....

Actually in spite of or perhaps in part because of his incredible capacity to annoy, and his sheer innocence, I truly liked JF. And he did the absolute cutest cow.chr...
I'm being totally serious. To prove it, I won't even mention     .

No, and I sincerely hope I did not offend you. I honestly did like you, and do still. I still remember the game you made with the inside/outside map effect where a NPC had taken vacation pictures and showed you the album. You certainly are not the least bit annoying now. You would remember me perhaps as Prince Paul, or Pontifex. In fact, you promised me a .chr of myself, if I recall.
Part of why I never went on IRC was because of how people would take atvantage of your (then) innocence by trying to make you crash your computer, or log yourself off, etc, which I found to be cruel.
I do hope you are not offended by having been called annoying, it was many years ago after all, and I am annoying to this day.

Will you forgive my lack of discretion?
Paul

Uhm... Did you know I'm JF?

God, WHO ARE YOU PEOPLE?!

I've pretty much always gone by the name "Interference," although at one point on another unrelated message board I went by my real name, which is Fred. No, really.

Interference is a two-part Doctor Who novel I once read, which is rather good. And so is the name, which is why I use it.

I signed up to the old boards about two and a half years ago after a brief stint with Ika before realising I *could* program in VC afterall and that V2 just *felt* better. Pack files, better file handling, no enormous DLLs to lug around etc.

Before that, I was making funcrap(tm) with Greg Janson's MegaZeux. Horrifyingly restrictive, the creator had long since buggered off, part of the source code got lost, the guys who made great games had moved on to better things and the Admins on the boards were fairly joyless, holding the community at arms length and definetly had delusions of grandeur. Anyone ever give MegaZeux a go? Its reasonable fun, until you find something better to play with. That had some great games made on it - far more than VERGE (although v3 is bound to result in a mountain of cool games). Stuff like Darkness, Cans, Weirdland, Honor Quest: Special Edition, Bernard the Bard... Ahem, anyway..

JesusFreak, incidentally, is the most perfect example of borderline loonacy in respect to choosing an name I've ever heard. Well done.

I'll gladly read it in front of the class myself. I don't mind looking foolish. Making someone else look or feel foolish is another matter entirely.

As I said before: I ham what I ham.

My favorite example of an awesome verge handle to date is yourdogisonfire.

Khross

I remember Jesus Freak's hilarious antics back in the day. Particularly when he was coming out of his brainwashed Christian phase and was begging to get porn past his kiddie-blocks. So naturally I sent him some she-male getting sucked off by a Japanese business man or some crazy shit, I wasn't brave enough to watch it first. :D

I think he threw up. Good times.

Grue, that was the most pure form of awesomeness ever.

And holy crap! Prince Paul! I had no idea!

Oh, name changes... an unrivalled opportunity for awkwarness-related hilarity. A postal order for ten shillings goes to anyone who knows who I used to be...

DAMN! My disguise fails dismally... It's a damn good thing that the promised reward was an obsolete currency, or I'd be out of pocket too. Bow before Takei!
