Awesome.
Didn't see your contribution until now. Thanks jimbo!
I'm not drunk but I was last night. Whee! Irish Car Bombs must be tried!
Btw, anyone who lives in Minneapolis should check out Gluek's next Tuesday night. It's listed as Dave Pirner, but I have it from a very reliable source (about as reliable as you can get) that the entire Soul Asylum band is going to make a surprise appearance.
Plus, it's A night, so if you run into me, and you're female, and either your first name or last name starts with an A, I'll buy you at least three beers. Double if both your first and last names start with an A.

Loretian + Aen + Jeff + Car Bombs.
...For some reason, I can't get a Guy Ritchie-style drinking montage out of my head.

If for whatever crazy reason you happen to be in Alaska, I recommend stopping by either the Glacier Brewhouse or the Moose's Tooth for some good food and better beer. If you want to spend some $$$ for some fine dining and local brews, you head to the Brewhouse (Alaskan halibut in AK-brew beer batter is so good it will make your nuts quiver). If you're a broke hippie, go to the Moose's Tooth, which is in fact a hippie-run pizza place and brewery. They have some crazy pizza flavors (their gyro pizza was probably my favorite), and even more local brews.
To this day I am not really a fan of beer, and there are very, very few out there that I can drink more than one bottle of before getting sick of the taste. I am only able to get properly intoxicated on hard liquors and/or girly drinks. But the local Alaskan brewed stuff that I sampled during the two years I lived there is the best shit I ever had.

The only way to acquire a taste for beer is to keep drinking it even when you don't like it.
Or you can always just not drink it, too. ;)
If I'm ever in Alaska, I'll check out both those places.

Speaking of hijinks, what's the plan for the next vcon? I think two Rectors, a Peterson, and an Osburn is a pretty good argument for making it an MN one again. Of course, Las Vegas has legal prostitution, which is also a pretty good argument.

I go to where the booze is at. However, in light of last time's vecnalessness, I demand a two-Ben minimum to the next gathering.
...so the time and location is up to Big Daddy V, says I.

So, I'm at work today, and I'm in that state where waves of nauseum followed by waves of what can only be described as nirvana do battle in my head and stomach. One second I feel like a million dollars, the next second I'm about to vomit all over my keyboard.
Yeah!! The funny thing is, considering my drunken state, I've already had three people compliment me on my appearance today. I look in the mirror and look normal to me.

I like Grain Belt Premium beer.
It doesn't taste much better than High Life, but damn, I love it. It's relatively cheap, too.
Also, I don't see any good reason why beer and electricity can't work together.
