Is Verge free?

Basically, yes. Verge is completely free. It is a tool to be used by aspiring indie developers who want to make cool games.

Verge was a free (like free beer) RPG game engine.
Later, the source code of the engine was released to the public under BSD license.
Therefore, Verge3 is now free (like free speech) and opensource (and as free beer still) RPG game engine.
