Ahh, the postcount in the reply page apparently doesn't take deleteions into account.
And I was thinking it'd be "true-pay". Do your friends call you "True" or "Troop" or some other name?

Its not French, damnit.
True-pay is a pronunciation some people use to be funny. Its not really that funny. People that here my name sometimes think it is True. Many think it is Drew. One girl calls me Troop. Of course it sounds the same, she just writes it that way. Most people just call me Troupe though. Also, troupe is a word in the dictionary, so you are all fools!

Also words in the dictionary:
- Dysentery
- Schadenfreude
- Antidisestablishmentarianism
However, I will not be naming any of my children Schadenfreude McGraw. Although that'd be a somewhat ironic name to give someone. :D

But everyone knows how to pronounce Dysentery, becuase it is in the dictionary. I wasn't saying that my name came from a dictionary, just that people should have some frame of reference when trying to pronounce it.
Sabernet: I, too, have an aunt Dysentary!!!

If it's any consolation, I always presumed your name was pronunced as it is.
My boss used to call me Alexandra (or even worse, when calling to me from another room: "Alexandraaaaaaa!") which almost led me to say something extremely unpleasant and get myself fired. Having a name that has a feminine version can be very annoying, as can people who don't know which is which. My boss calls me Alex now, but probably still thinks I have a girl's name.
Anyway, it's Troopay, right? ;)

Liar, it is too French! Well, sort of. It's an English word stolen from French. But the point is that it uses French pronunciation, more or less.
