just thought I'd show some of my current work.. it's half-assed so far, and not near done - which really makes me doubt I should show it, however, in the spirit of inspiring others that there're games being worked on I give, unto you, two of my menu system screenshots.
CREDITS:
- Corey made the characters.
- I made the rest.

DUSKBANE WILL FEATURE SHOOTING LIMBS OFF ZOMBIES.
Funnily enough, Dawn Of The Zombies is a project I was working on that was going to have a similar feature. The game has kind of stalled at the moment, but it's certainly not cancelled.
Kind of an old screenie there, and nothing really too impressive.
But yes, that IS Bumville. Makes a rad test map :D

Zaril, those are only stat screens and already they look very impressive. Damn you. I like the Tales of Phantasia-esque chars too, very distinctive! The colouring is beautifully crisp and well defined.
On Resident's post, all the zombies look like they're wearing Meatloaf-style frill-fronted shirts. Bizzare, but excellent!

They're zombies of pirates, hence the frilly shirts.

If that game also had ninjas and robots, it would be the best game ever conceived.

Not quite. The best game ever designed would also need monkeys. Infact, the Ninja's (ninjai?) should be monkeys. And the robots would need to be gigantic anime style city destroying robots. That breathe fire, for preference.
So - Zombie Pirates vs Ninja Monkeys vs Giant Fire Breathing Robots = best game evar!!!!oneone!!111

Needs work, but shows much potential: can I suggest 'Zombie Ninja Monkey Pirates vs Giant Megalomaniac Fire-Breathing Japanese Robots Of Death From Space'? That would be pure, undiluted coolness.
Weapons would also have to be equally as cool, hence the following suggestions:
+ The Samurai Rocket Chainsaw
+ The Microwave Ultra Destructo Death-Ray Of Doom Gun
+ The Inifinite Destiny Turbo Extreme Exploding Washing Machine Launcher
+ Laser-Guided, Target Tracking, Objective Combat Equipped, Serrated Titanium Harpoon Gun. With grenade launcher.
You should also get to shoot Barney the Purple Dinosaur and the guy who invented telephone switchboards.

MINI?! That's at least a month's worth of solid work there.
It might get a mention. Hell, one day it might even get made after I'm done with P7 and Perceptions.

In the spirit of meaningless acronyms-
LGTTOCESTHG(WGL)
PS IN DUSKBANE YOU CAN PLANT A NUT AND IT WILL GROW INTO A TREE UNLIKE A SOON TO BE RELEASED GAME WHICH PROMISED THIS FEATURE BUT FAILED TO PROVIDE THE GOODS.

What? You can do that in Final Fantasy Legend 3. Where's the innovation, I ASK YOU.

It's all in 'Zombie Ninja Monkey Pirates vs Giant Megalomaniac Fire-Breathing Japanese Robots Of Death From Space', I think.

Hi everybody. The name of my game is Element Cyber and it's a game I had been working on since I first discovered V1. I ended up, procrastinating for around 5 years and eventually forgot about it. :) I recently took a look at what I had finished for it, after seeing V3 had been released, and decided to try and complete it.
Well after about a month of redoing art, porting code and adding features, it's almost ready for a small demo release. There's just a few little things I want to fix. And, I'm also waiting for vecna to release the next v3 version so I can get rid of that entity idle frame bug I posted in the help forum about. (*wink* *wink* *nudge* *nudge*) :)
btw, I'm the guy who made Carnage Killing Spree (which is in the file section of this site) if anyone remembers...
